Common Questions

What if I make a mistake?

Don't worry - our experts review every LPA before you sign. We'll contact you if anything needs changing. After signing, small errors can often be corrected; major changes require a new form.

Can I save and come back later?

Yes! Your progress is saved automatically. You can complete the form over multiple sessions - just log back in to continue where you left off.

What's a certificate provider?

A certificate provider is someone who confirms you understand the LPA and aren't being pressured. They can be someone who has known you for 2+ years, or a professional like a doctor, solicitor, or social worker.

Do I need witnesses?

Yes, your signature and your attorneys' signatures need to be witnessed. Witnesses must be 18+ and can't be attorneys named in the LPA. They don't need to read the document - just watch you sign.
